Out of 2,397 bills introduced and 800 passed, we highlight just a few: SB 79, which threatens single-family zoning; the cap-and-trade extension to 2045, which will raise energy costs; AB 155, which seeks to censor local news; and AB 715, which fines social media platforms for “hate speech.” It’s time for accountability, transparency, and a less regulated California.
